One week before Christmas, it started to snow...and snow...and snow. Our total accumulation was around 19 inches. Church was canceled and the kids missed the last three days of school making for a total Christmas vacation of more than two weeks. Here is a glimpse into our snow fortress (house) and our fun that weekend.

The kids had a great time shoveling (when they wanted to) and playing with their sleds. When Matt and I finally got the driveway dug out, we opened the garage door to find that the van had tried to eat a nail with the front tire resulting in a pancake-flat tire. Nice. Thanks for fixing that honey!
